The Swiss Polit Blog ignoranz.ch was forced to remove an article. While Sandro from ignoranz.ch doesn't give much details what exactly happened, a little pondering of the Google Cache revealed the original article…

So what did Sandro do? (I'm not revealing any names here, since I don't know in how much trouble Sandro is until he will clarify it):

He quoted an article from the Tages-Anzeiger about a company which was convicted by a Swiss court for discriminating policies in employing “non-swiss” people (the accuser had the Swiss citizenship, she was just “not swiss enough” for the employee). Sandro then goes further on to sum up the verdict and ends with a plea to the company's clients to think about that and then names the clients. The clients list, of course, can be found on the company's “references” website…

So WTH did Sandro do wrong? The main information was in one of the main Swiss news papers and the court decision some days before, the other information was publicly available from the company's website … No defamation, no curse words, nothing.

If that's what it needs to be forced to pull an article, it's a sad story about “freedom of speech”. But keep in mind that Sandro wasn't forced by some court decision to remove that article, he was just massively threatened by phone and legal “sabre-rattling” so that he finally gave in… So hopefully the story goes on and doesn't end this way.

And again, I never talked or wrote to Sandro, we even don't know each other (AFAIK :) ), I got all this information by myself.
