We got today an “open letter” from Dominique Bornand about the Swiss Blog Awards and that we – as a sponsor – should “demander une explication circonstanciée aux organisateurs de ce prix” about why there are only Swiss German blogs on the nominations list.
No. I won't. And I can't understand, why there's so much whining now. “They” missed taking part in the discussion before the nominations and “they” didn't do much promotion during the (public) nomination phase. No wonder it came out the way it did. Complaining is easy, doing it better not. And it's not a political or whatever vote, it's a thing organized by some bloggers for some bloggers and they're doing a great job IMHO.
Now, i have not much more to add than what was written by Jan (and others) in the comments at the Swiss Blog Awards Blog. Also interesting to read is Post 1 and 2 by Lunch over IP
